I’ve been coming here for three years now and so has my mom and we both have nothing but good things to say about Mahvash and Mojgan. I’ve gotten keratin treatments twice here and many haircuts. Each time, my hair has come out looking so much healthier than before. I have really frizzy, curly hair and I came here to get a keratin treatment and my hair still retained a lot of its nice curls, but the frizz was gone. The formula they use isn’t harsh and actually seems to make the hair stronger and healthier. I also love the layering they give my hair with the haircuts. They know how to cut your hair to fit you better and make you look prettier. They are both also really sweet, nice, and great to talk to. Their prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Moje did an amazing job straightening my hair. This was the first time anyone was able to straighten my hair with just a blow dryer and brush, giving it more volume. Everyone else does a quick blow dry then straight to the flat iron, leaving my hair very very flat. I’m very happy with this first visit. I’ll definitely be becoming back! The before picture is from a long time ago, but is what my hair can naturally look like at times.

Relaxing atmosphere and excellent quality. Best hair color anywhere. Best salon anywhere! I’ve been to many salons throughout the country and have only been impressed by a few. She is the best stylist and colorist I’ve ever had!! She took special care to make me look and feel beautiful and I knew instantly I was in expert hands. She’s definitely a 10 in my book!

I highly recommend this charming hair salon situated in a cozy area of Balboa. Sherry is absolutely amazing!!! She is owner of Balboa Salon.She has done amazing things with my hair while keeping it so healthy! She is using organic products! Amazing lady all around.

I am so impressed by the talent of all the stylists at Balboa Salon. I have been seeing Mahvash for several years. She knows just the right color and style for me and I’m always thrilled with the result. I also love that I can make appointments for after work rather than mid-day – it makes getting my hair done very convenient. I love Balboa Hair Salon!
